DAKOTA SILVEY is a playwright, EMT, wildland firefighter and USAF Veteran. Dakota recently made his Off-Broadway debut with his latest full-length The Maker (AMT Theater), previously workshopped at the William Inge Festival’s New Play Lab. His selected plays include: Torito (ASDS Rep), Flight Risk (Gene Frankel Theatre), and Wildfire (Semi-finalist; O’Neill NPC, AITAF Bridge Award, Savage Wonder) He is a member of La MaMa’s Great Jones Repertory Company, a member of the Playwright-Directors Workshop at The Actors Studio, and a 2024 Sewanee Writers’ Conference Fellow. He has an M.F.A. in playwriting from the Actors Studio Drama School.
